Eureko Associates Limited has been offering consultancy and business support services since 2003, the year in which it was founded by Dr Vivien Hacker, who is also the Managing Director.

Vivien grew up in Frankfurt am Main, the financial capital of Germany. She studied at Frankfurt University where she gained first an MA and then her PhD. She has lived in the UK since 1998.

As part of Eureko’s consultancy and business support services, she has built up a well-established network of official contacts to German organisations.

In addition to the consultancy services, Vivien has produced business-related language materials for UK agencies, including UKTI and Business Link; has given lectures on the German market to export clubs in the region; has held workshops on behalf of German organisations based in London; and has written many specialist articles for Chamber of Commerce magazines on business cultures throughout Europe.

Eureko Associates Limited is a member of the Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce, Trade & Industry, the Federation of Small Businesses, and the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce, London.

Dr Tony Waine is a fellow director of Eureko and looks after marketing and communications for the company.

He has many years experience in establishing linguistic, cultural and educational links between the UK and Germany. He has taught workshops at Lufthansa, Hamburg, and helped write scripts for English language commercial videos of companies including Audi.

Tony specialises in website translations for UK companies exporting to Germany, as well as advising German companies on how to improve their English-language websites.
